Downtown Phoenix to get its first grocery store

Downtown Phoenix has a lot to offer those working or visiting the area including clothing boutiques, college campuses, eateries and major professional sports teams. What it hasn’t had is a supermarket. That is about to change now that ground has been broken on a site that will house a Fry’s Food Store scheduled to open in 2019.
