Rue21 in talks with lenders pre-bankruptcy

Rue21, which has been looking for a “junior bankruptcy loan”, is talking with lenders prior to filing for Chapter 11. The teen retailer missed an interest payment last month and is looking for a loan to pay its legal fees while it tries to figure out how to keep stores open as it goes through an eventual reorganization process.
