The Container Store beats Wall Street’s expectations

The Container Store posted an overall sales increase of 5.3 percent, same-store sales were down 0.2 percent, while its earnings per share improved t0 17 cents per share versus seven cents a year ago. The retailer is cutting about 100 full-time jobs as it seeks to reduce labor costs. The chain plans to end a wage freeze this summer.
