Dearden’s, a mainstay LA-based furniture and home goods chain, is shutting down all its locations after 108 years in operation. The retailer maintained a loyal following, especially from lower-income Latinos in the area who appreciated not only the discounted prices but the friendly, respectful attention from staff.
