Hobby Lobby settles suit over illegally smuggled artifacts

Hobby Lobby has agreed to pay a $3 million fine and return thousands of illegally smuggled Middle Eastern historical artifacts as part of a settlement with the Department of Justice. Hobby Lobby was warned by a consultant it hired that the artifacts, including cuneiform tablets, were likely illegally taken from Iraq. The chain went ahead with the purchase anyway.
