L Brands leads retail stocks downward

L Brands saw its stock price fall 12 percent yesterday after posting a nine percent decline in same-store sales in June. The company, which owns Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works, saw its overall sales fall six percent last month. Retailer stocks also took a hit as six of the biggest decliners on the S&P 500 at midday were from the retail sector.
