Analyst says Amazon could become ‘first trillion-dollar company’

James Caymak, an analyst with Monness, Crespi, Hardt & Co., thinks that Amazon.com’s stock price is likely to hit $2,000 a share, almost twice is current price, making it the first trillion-dollar company. He also believes that regulators will approve Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods despite concerns raised by some lawmakers about the growing size of the company.
