Lego replaces CEO with a younger exec

Bali Padda, CEO of Lego since January, will be replaced on Oct. 1 by Niels Christiansen. Mr. Padda is not being replaced because of performance, but because of age. Jorgen Vig Knudstrop said that Mr. Padda, age 61, knew that he would be replaced once a strong, younger candidate was found for the job. Mr. Christiansen is 51.
