President Trump’s accusation on Twitter that Amazon.com is avoiding collecting sales taxes would have made perfect sense five years ago, but the e-tailer now collects the tax in all states that include the fee with purchases. Five states – Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon – do not have a sales tax.
