Brewers put beer production aside to address Houston crisis

To be ready in case of natural disasters, Anheuser-Busch says it periodically pauses beer production at its Cartersville, Georgia brewery in order to stockpile canned water. The company is sending over 155,000 cans to the Houston region to help victims of Hurricane Harvey. MillerCoors is teaming up with Ball Corp. to help, as well, sending about 50,000 cans of water to the Gulf Coast.
