Estee Lauder sued for giving fathers unfair paternity leave

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunities Commission on Wednesday filed a lawsuit against cosmetics giant Estee Lauder for discriminating against fathers in its employ. According to the allegations, Estee Lauder’s parental leave policy only gives fathers two weeks of paid leave for “child bonding” vs. the six that moms are allowed. About 84 percent of the company’s employees around the globe are women.
