Fearing of gas shortages, Texans drain available gas supplies
September 1, 2017
“Out of gas” signs were reportedly being posted at stations in the Dallas area as consumers rushed to stations to top off their tanks in anticipation of gas shortages. C-store chain QuikTrip temporarily halted gas sales at about half its 135 Dallas-Fort Worth-area stores in order to regulate distribution flow.
