General Mills sees sales and profits decline

Revenues for the quarter ending Aug. 27 fell 3.5 percent for General Mills while profits declined one percent. The rate of decline, however, slowed from previous quarters as the consumer packaged goods giant has increased its emphasis on growing top line sales.
