McD’s takes heat over Szechuan sauce shortage

McDonald’s was bringing back Szechuan sauce as part of a one-day promotional tie-in with the “Rick and Morty” animated television series. Many fans of the show who went to McDonald’s looking for the sauce were disappointed to find it was not available. The resulting uproar in the chain’s restaurants and on social media has led McDonald’s to announce it will bring the sauce back again this winter.
