American Eagle to open prototype store

AE Studio, American Eagle Outfitters’ new prototype store, will heavily focus on denim and include a “Maker’s Shop” where customers can create their own jeans. The store, which is focused on younger consumers, will include a wall of washers and dryers where local students can do their laundry. The concept will debut in New York’s Union Square neighborhood on Nov. 10.
