Online drives Target’s same-store sales gain

Target posted a 0.9 percentage gain in same-store sales during the third quarter as the chain saw its online business increase 24 percent. Investments in higher wages for employees and lower prices on goods sold resulted in a 21 percent drop in Target’s profits during the period.
