Dr Pepper Snapple and Keurig Green Mountain announce merger plans

Dr Pepper Snapple Groud and Keurig Green Mountain has announced plans for the two U.S. beverage companies to merge, creating a company that delivers roughly $11 billion in annual sales. The new company will be known as Keurig Dr Pepper. JAB Holding, which acquired Keurig in 2016, will become the controlling shareholder in the newly combined business.
