Best Buy sees big jump in same-store sales

Best Buy posted a 7.1 percent increase in same-store sales during the first quarter as the consumer electronics chain saw improvement in a wide variety of product categories including appliances, computers, phones, smart home tech and tablets. The chain’s strong performance followed big gains in same-store sales during the fourth quarter of last year.
