Tapestry reported a 31 percent increase in revenues for the company during its fourth quarter, The company reported a spike in sales of Kate Spade handbags following the announcement that the brand’s founder had committed suicide in June. Tapestry owns Coach and Stuart Weitzman in addition to the Kate Spade brand.
