Starbucks pledges to operate greener stores

Starbucks has announced plans to build and operate 10,000 “greener stores” worldwide by 2025. The coffee giant, which currently operates 1,500 LEED-certified stores, said the locations will focus on changes to reduce water consumption, increase waste diversion and cut energy consumption.
