Cashierless store has a plan to catch shoplifters

Standard Market is the first cashierless grocery store in San Francisco. The company, which was founded by seven individuals including five who worked developing artificial intelligence software to identify fraud and trading violations, identifies shoppers when they walk into the store and then uses ceiling cameras and AI tech to determine if they are stealing.
