Florida AG office sues CVS, Walgreens over opioid prescriptions

Florida attorney general Pam Bondi has amended a lawsuit filed in May to include CVS and Walgreens for their alleged roles in worsening the opioid crisis in the state. “Defendants reaped billions of dollars in revenues while they knew, or should reasonably have known, that they were causing immense harm to the State and its citizens,” according to the suit brought against the two drugstore giants.
