While many New Yorkers are welcoming Amazon’s HQ2 to Long Island City in Queens, others are openly opposed to the e-tail giant’s pending move into the area. The New York City Council will hold the first of three planned hearings on Amazon and the deal that is bringing it to Queens starting today.
