New burger combines beef with plant ingredients

Think of it as a food to help consumers transition from beef hamburgers to the plant-based variety, or perhaps a product for people who want some of the taste of meat and health benefits that comes with eating meatless. The new item in question is Applegate’s “blend burger,” which includes either beef or turkey with mushrooms.
