Japanese women call for rebellion against high heels

Over 19,000 people have signed a petition calling on Japanese companies to end a dress code rules that requires women to wear high heels to work. The #KuToo movement name, which has drawn inspiration from #MeToo, is based on two Japanese words that describe footwear — kutsu (shoes) and kutsuu (pain).
