The book distributor, Readerlink, is working on making a bid to acquire Barnes & Noble before the June 13 deadline, potentially upsetting a deal announced last week between the retailer and Elliott Management. The hedge fund offered to pay $683 million in cash for Barnes & Noble assets and debt.
