Amazon workers in Germany strike on Prime Day

Slinging the slogan, “No more discount on our incomes”, Amazon workers sites in the German towns of Werne, Rheinberg, Leipzig, Graben, Koblenz and Bad Hersfeld went on strike last night to pressure the company into providing what union organizers refer to as a “living wage.” The union told CNN that over 2,000 workers are involved in the strike.
