Accident at warehouse puts spotlight on Amazon’s safety record

An accident this week at an Amazon warehouse in New Jersey is leading to closer scrutiny of worker safety. At least two dozen people were hospitalized after a can of bear repellant fell off a shelf. Seven workers have died at Amazon’s warehouses since 2013, according to the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health.
