Activist enlists company heir to seek Campbell Soup sale

Third Point LLC, which has a 5.65 percent stake in Campbell Soup, has enlisted George Strawbridge Jr., grandson of the inventor of the company’s famous condensed soup, to push for a sale of the company. Mr. Strawbridge owns 2.8 percent of Campbell’s stock.
