The fashion industry produced more greenhouse gases than all international flights and maritime shipping combined. While it may have appeared as though the fashion industry has become more environmentally-conscious in recent years, the facts show otherwise. Sustainability gains are trailing the industry’s growth overall, according to a new report from Boston Consulting Group, Global Fashion Agenda and Sustainable Apparel Coalition.
