Art sales suffer from COVID-19 effect

Global sales fell an average of 36 percent at galleries specializing in modern and contemporary art during the first six months of 2020, according to a report published by Art Basel and UBS. More than 90 percent of 795 galleries in the study closed their doors during the first half of the year.
