Blue Apron’s IPO falls short of objective

The top U.S. meal-kit provider raised $300 million in its initial public offering yesterday, about a third less than hoped for by management. The company originally estimated a per share value range of $15 to $17, but lowered it to $10 to $11 per share following news of Amazon’s intention to buy Whole Foods.
