Andy Puzder, the former CEO of CKE Restaurants, the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, favored over-the-top sexual imagery in ads promoting the burger chains. With Mr. Puzder no longer running the business, CKE is focusing on better ingredients in its consumer marketing.
