Chipotle expects prices to rise with Mexican tariffs

Chipotle has forecast increased costs of about $15 million this year due to tariffs placed on imports from Mexico. Higher import prices, if temporary, would mean that Chipotle would see its margins reduced by 20 to 30 basis points. The chain would be forced to raise prices to protect its profit margins if the increases become permanent.
