Costco’s share price took a hit after the warehouse club posted lower than expected sales and earnings results for the fourth quarter. The chain also announced it was increasing the price of its annual Gold Star membership by $5 and its Executive membership by $10. The chain derives about 70 percent of its profits from membership fees.
