The nation’s biggest warehouse club operator will pay a $7-a-share special dividend to shareholders on May 26. The special dividend comes on top the planned 50 cents-a-share dividend the chain had planned to pay. Costco’s share price increased 3.1 percent in after-market trading on the news.
