Dollar General’s Popshelf makes inroads with wealthier suburban shoppers
CNBC 12/13/2022Dollar General’s new Popshelf store concept, which sells most items for $5 or less, caters to suburban consumers with annual household incomes between $50,000 and $125,000. The dollar store giant plans to open 300 Popshelf stores next year and have about 1,000 in operation in three years.
