Dollar store customers to feel the impact of Trump’s tariffs

Dollar Tree imports about 42 percent of the products it sells in its stores while 23 percent of the goods sold in Family Dollar are also imported. With most of the products imported by the two chains coming from China, it means that either they and/or their customers will be taking a price hit as result of tariffs slapped on Chinese-made goods last month by President Trump.
