Thousands of associates working at King Soopers in Colorado have gone on strike against the chain after contract talks failed between the grocer and the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7. Both sides of the dispute are pointing the finger at the other for failing to negotiate in good faith. King Soopers, which is owned by Kroger, has begun running ads for replacement workers while associates are on the picket line.
