Somebody goofed. Home Depot posted a spreadsheet of about 8,000 customers on HomeDepot.com. The information, which included information such as cell numbers, but no financial information or Social Security numbers, was taken down as soon as the error was discovered. It’s not known if the information was captured by criminals.
