Kroger Announces Biggest IT Initiative in Grocer’s History

Project Mercury, as Kroger is calling it, will transform how the company receives and manages product information. The company, excluding Fred Meyer, plans to start with nine categories in the fall, eventually working up to 650 over the next three years.
