Lidl’s U.S. sales called ‘frighteningly weak’

Michael Arnada, the former chief of Lidl’s business in Spain, has been appointed to lead a board overseeing the company’s U.S. grocery operations. The move was made, according to a report by Lebensmittel Zeitung, as sales at Lidl’s U.S. stores are well below plan.
