L’Oréal debuts device to create personalized lipstick and makeup

L’Oréal is introducing a new device called Perso at CES in Las Vegas. The device combines compressed beauty formulas from physical cartridges resulting in personalize lipstick and makeup formulas for customers. The device is 6.5 inches tall and weighs just over a pound. L’Oréal is looking to personalization as a means to drive sales. Personalized products are 1.7 times more likely to drive sales than those coming off the shelf, according to Nielsen.
