Macy’s Unveils Mode of One Menswear Brand
September 16, 2024
Macy’s has introduced Mode of One, a new contemporary menswear brand. It is designed specifically for those who want to express themselves fully through their clothing.
Macy’s Newsroom explains, “The assortment features a range of high-quality must-have items from elevated everyday essentials to statement-making designs, all with a focus on impeccable fits and proportions. Mode of One strengthens Macy’s contemporary menswear assortment and is part of the company’s ongoing private brands reimagination.”
Emily Erusha-Hilleque, SVP, head of private brands at Macy’s, stated in the announcement, “Mode of One represents our commitment to offering contemporary menswear that celebrates the individuality of the modern man. We are strengthening our fashion leadership in our brand portfolio, designing brands rooted in the customer’s voice and anchored in elevated trend, quality and cultural relevancy. We are excited to introduce Mode of One to our customers and look forward to seeing how they make it their own.”
The company spent over two years developing the brand. Its extensive research on men’s trends and style preferences prevailed. The concept is a cross between street style, art, sports, music, technology, and entertainment. Macy’s collaborated with graphic designer Tyrell Waiters and stylist Ouigi Theodore for the launch collection.
The brand is unique in that it features multiple silhouettes and fits so each customer can craft their own unique look. The concept is that anyone can look great with minimal effort.
The Mode of One collection features over 140 SKUs, designed for effortless mixing and matching to create a variety of looks. Prices range from $24.50 to $159.50, with sizes available from S to XXL and 30 to 40. New monthly drops will be released starting in October and continuing through the holiday season.
This is just another step in the company’s attempt to accelerate growth. New brands generate excitement and attract more customers to stores who will purchase more items.
The collection is now available on Macys.com, the Macy’s mobile app, and in Macy’s stores nationwide.
