Fifty-eight percent of U.S. consumers said they are likely to avoid public spaces such as shopping centers if the coronavirus spreads across the U.S. as expected. Nearly 28 percent of respondents have already cut back on trips to public areas, according to a survey of 1,934 consumers by Coresight Research.
