Marks & Spencer removes YouTube ads citing offensive accompanying content

Marks & Spencer has pulled its Google network advertising over concerns that its ads on YouTube are being positioned alongside material that gives exposure to terrorist and anti-semitic views. In an apology to the company and other advertisers voicing similar concerns, Google’s president for business and operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa said, “We have a review underway on how to improve, which has been going on for some time, and we’re accelerating that review.”
