McD’s sells tech firm it bought to personalize its drive-thru experience
CNBC 12/21/2021McDonald’s acquired Dynamic Yield about three years ago with the goal of using the firm’s personalization and decision logic technology to help improve how it handles customer transactions at its drive-thrus. Yesterday, company management disclosed that it is selling Dynamic Yield to Mastercard. The acquisition, reportedly worth $300 million, represented McDonald’s biggest purchase to date.
