Mom asks Meijer to dump the junk at checkouts

Jane Kramer, a consumer living in Bath Township, MI, created a petition on Change.org in September asking Meijer to offer checkouts without candy, gum and magazines with suggestive headlines. Ms. Kramer said she became concerned about products sold at the checkout after adopting her son eight years ago. Her petition has gained 400 signatures to date
