Fast food jobs this decade have grown at twice the rate of overall employment. The shortage of teen workers, in particular, is causing major problems for managers at Subway and other high-growth chains who could once rely on a flood of applicants for summer jobs and now resort to Craigslist and calling in favors from competitive restaurants to find help.
