Neiman Marcus has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with plans to emerge “a far stronger company” by the fall. CEO Geoffroy Van Raemdonck said Neiman Marcus took the action as store closings caused by coronavirus pandemic put “inexorable pressure” on the business.
